Areas of focus

Healing can take many forms — finding balance through change, processing painful experiences, or reconnecting with a sense of identity and belonging. My work supports Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) in exploring these experiences with care, compassion, and cultural understanding.

My practice is rooted in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive approaches. I aim to create a space where stories, identities, and emotions can be explored safely and without judgment.

Areas of specialization include:

  • Trauma and intergenerational trauma

  • Life transitions, including relationships, parenting, migration, career changes, grief, and loss

  • Emotional wellbeing, including anxiety, depression, and stress

  • Identity exploration, including culture, gender, and sexuality

Common themes that often emerge in my work:

  • Navigating cultural and generational expectations

  • Healing from systemic and racial trauma

  • Reclaiming connection to self and community after experiences of discrimination or migration

  • Recovering from burnout and perfectionism

  • Reconnecting with the body and inner resources after trauma or chronic stress

Each person’s healing journey is unique. My role is to support this process with curiosity, respect, and gentleness — honouring both the pain and the resilience that shape each story.

I acknowledge with gratitude and humbleness that I am a Latinx settler who lives and works on the traditional and unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwəta/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples, who continue their culture and relations with the land to this day.
